First Day of Two-A-Days for the Europe Warriors

Monday, August 7, 2017:

Finally, it was time to enjoy yet another GREAT day of American football, this time on the University of Mexico's excellent campus.

But first . . .

A scene from Sunday's
Special Teams meeting

 Head Coach Jesús Sanchez
addressing the Warriors Sunday

About the Warriors, we have 44 players on the roster who have all played in Europe at one time or another. These Warriors hail from Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Poland, Spain, Turkey, the United Kingdom and the USA, 11 countries in all.

After another solid breakfast and a short bus trip through insane Mexico City traffic, we made it to the University of Mexico's/UNAM's training facilities.

We were greeted by this mural
alluding to UNAM's 35 National
Championship teams

Our players had to wait
for tape to arrive

 Big on-campus election
coming this Thursday

It's not a sport unless
you are throwing up

I liked the National Championship
rubber surface in their weight room

The long walk to our practice field

Spirited to say the least.

More Pumas history

Loving their 35 titles!

The evening practice was
a better one

It did end just as a a monsoon hit the field though.
